Installing new springs!! what to replace while there

Hey i was just wondering what else to replace while putting in new springs/struts. I have new strut mounts so i dont need them. I have heard about getting new strut bearings and was also wondering if i would need new spring isolators. Those are the lil rubber washer things between the strut and the spring right. Do i need anything else or should i do anything else? Let me kno also does anyone kno where i can get those rubber things-i dont want anything squeeking thanks

Strut bearings and dustboots. Maybe other stuff too. I'm not sure what else I'm going to replace, but definitely those.

strut bearings, dust boots, upper coil and lower coil spring wraps(oem ones) think they are called spring isolators, brake line clips(usually they are rusted to hell) and if need be BOTH strut mounts. Check and see if the rubber inside them looks worn out or cracked up. Also you may wanna change the rubber spring seats... i changed out mine cause they had over 100k on them and plus i changed everything else i listed as well.

The dust boots keep out the crap that will scrape the piston.

I'm thinking I'll get these. They are kinda cheap and people seem to have had good luck with them...not to mention you can get them in bright pink (although I'll probably go with black). http://store.summitracing.com/partde...art=RAN-RS1927.

What do you guys think about replacing bump stops or not? How bad is their condition likely to be after 108k and 10 years?

10 year old rubber is crap. Replace them. Besides, if you are going OEM dustboot they should be on there. If not, I got the koni bumpstops and they are great.

I thought the orginals did but the new OE replacements didn't (it could be the other way around). I can't seem to find the OE dustboots on Jr nissans site.

I get the feeling I've asked you this before, though I'm not sure, but could you link me to those koni bumpstops? Why do you like them BTW? Are these them? Unless there is a cheaper place to get them then I'll probably just get KYB boots and throw those summit ones on top (I've heard KYB boots don't last very long, but the bumpstops should be alright I would think).

yeah strut mounts expecially the back ones go.
If you do decide to replace these you may as well get the ones mzmtg makes to gain some extra suspension travel back there.
