anybody know of a thermostat

looking for a thermostat that will open sooner that will fit our maxes

any help on this is appreciated.

AutoZone can sell you thermostats that will fit and open at different temperatures like 120, 160, etc. degrees.

are you trying to run your engine cooler or something. your engine runs best when Hot, when the engine is colder, the parts will wear faster

um well i drive hard so i was intrested in keeping it a little cooler not a lot maybe a few degrees

Stock thermostat partially opens at 180 degrees.
Fully opens at 194 degrees.

How high does your gauge get? I've never seen mine over half. It's not very hot here though. I doubt it is needed and like killcrap said could be bad for the car.

not if you only take a few degrees down cant be bad if i ran all the way on the bottom of the guage then yes mine runs a little lower than warm like maybe less than a quarter less than middle.
