How long does the stock nissan Heavy Duty battery usually live?

 

Mine lasted 5 years.

 

yeah mine is about 5 years old also. Reason i ask is i bought an optima Redtop battery figuring this battery would die being as it was 5 years old but since its seems to be good i wanted to sell the optima but i have a feeling if i do the Stock Battery is going to die.

 

5 years for me also. Stupid battery died while in my underground office parking lot 4 floors down. Got a replacement one from AAA. Found out from AAA guy that 5 years is the standard lifespan.

 

the battery in my gf's sentra lasted 6 years (just died a month ago).. so 5ish sounds about right

3-4 years is normal, but they can last a month or 5 years..but usual warranty is 1 year free replacement, then pro-rated after that

 

I got 7.5 years out of mine.
