Replacing them is something different ...
At any rate, you can get nice gauge kits from autometer - or mix and match gauges from them. I believe Defi might have something similar, but I'm not sure if they make speedometer and fuel gauges.
I did this same thing in another car that I had with the autometer gauges. I just fabricated a custom bezel and mounting bracket so it would fit in the stock location. After that, I carefully removed the stock warning lights and wired up a harness for them to still work in the custom bezel. After that, I just hooked everything up into the stock dash wiring and viola, new gauges
It'll take a lot of time, patience and wiring diagrams. I'd highly recommend getting a gauge cluster from another maxima to bastardize, it'll help a lot.
