finally dropped the max

i got my max dropped this weekend, thanks to tom(njmaxseltd) who did a great job and fixed my rear brakes too! anyway, it finally stopped raining after two days so i decided to take some pics this morning of how the drop looks. i think it looks great, a little better than stock, but not that low. sorry about the glare, didn't know i caught it in the pic. oh yea, the max is now equipped with h&r's and tokico illuminas

I'm rocking the same springs. I still think that H&Rs are a bit high and harsh. How do you like the ride?

Suny, now with that drop. It's only right that you come show it off at the Connecticut meet on Dec. 19th. And ac465, you should come also. We have a huge NY caravan leaving from Douglaston on the 19th at 9:30am but everyone will be gathering at 9am.

yea, so far the ride doesn't feel very much different from stock, it does feel a little stiff, maybe i can mess around with the settings on the tokicos. i was hoping it would be a little more lower, but its alright i guess. it looks better than the stock height and i think it is how the max should have looked stock. i have 2k3 17 se rims that im going to put on once winter has pass, so maybe it will look better with those.

oh, and ac465, wassup alex!
and thanks for invite allmaxxedout, i'll let u guys know if i will make it

i like my H&R's and the ride is not to harsh on agx's as some other springs. you went with better sturts and the ride i am sure is alot better than what i experiance. i just keep it on 1 and 1 now, and i have no complaints of the ride.

I'm afraid that if I go with H&R's my system will make it sag in the rear...

u think H&R are harsh??.. come for a ride in my car with Sprints and AGXs!

I had H&Rs with Tokico blues way back in the day and the car to me felt a bit stiffer than stock.

Bump. Unlike S-Techs, which with a system would give me a very even drop, but I would sacrifice ride comfort by a ton correct? Hopefully, H&R's and a system would be even as well, but I dunno. Anybody?
