New spark plugs GAP size

Hello guys. I got my new spark plugs yesterday.(nissan OEM) and on the package says that gup size should be adjusted to manuf req. before installation. So should I adjust them and to what gap size if it's required?
I think that too big gap can affect on fuel economy. Does it?

Thanks in advance Serge
