Ignition Coil Firing order

Hey all, i've been getting an 0603 code (misfire on 6) and i got a coil and replaced what i believed to be the 6th coil but codes back so i don't think i got the right one, i though someone said it was the front (closest to radiator) right coil (drivers side). I guess its not so anyone know which one it is, and or the exact firing order so i know for future reference? I checked The haynes manual, and the mechanical factory manuals and neither say (which is odd) So Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. You replaced coil in good cylinder. But it could be also spark plug or injector.

Misfire codes, 0603 thru 0608 (cylinder 6 to 1 respectivly) with no associated codes usually indicate ignition problems, not fuel injection problems.

A misfire code coupled with a fuel injection code would point to a fuel injection problem.

Fuel injection problems are usually identified by lean and rich conditions on the respective right and left cylinder banks. A clogged fuel injector will indicate a lean condition, a leaky fuel injector will indicate a rich condition.

A non functioning fuel injector may throw a misfire code if the two crank position sensors can detect which cylinder is causing the misfire. You can usually "feel" the misfire or lob at idle speed when an injector fails. It also stops clicking, which in that case you can identify the bad injector by doing the screwdriver from injector to the ear test.

Ummm Only code i got was misfire on 6th cylinder. By "good cylinder" did you mean that the front drivers side was the 6th cylinder? I'm not getting any fuel codes, just that misfire code and a knock sensor code that i've been getting for awhile? If i did replace the correct coil, what next if i'm still getting misfire, like i said i'm not getting rich or lean codes, just 0603 and knock sensor. If it helps i only get the misfiring in the morning usually, when its cold, when the engine warms up it usually goes away only to come back the next day, the check engine light will even go off once the car warms up, but 10 minutes into my next morning drive, it blinks and comes back on.

next check spark plug. if it is good, then check fuel injector
