s-afc2 controler?

does anyone have one of this on there 4th gen max?i have a stock max but for cai and sp2 and was wondering if this would help to have

my friend blew his motor with one of those for being a ********. he rand the car too lean and blew the block

You will see better gains if you had a heavily modded car but your pretty much stock so I don't think it would apply, only good for a few HP in your case.
