need help with engine rpm issue

whenever i clutch in to nuetral to break my rpms drop to like 300 for a second or 2 then go back up to the regular 6 or 7. ive read posts on this and people have spent over 1000 dollars and havent yet fixed it. has the cause for it been identified yet? it doesnt happen every time i break, probably half.

I've had the same symptoms as you, Whenever I came to a near stop and clutched, the rpms would dip down to like 300, then go back up.

I cleaned off the grille infront of the maf sensor, it had a lot of black residue on it. Then just gave the throttle body a clean since it was all exposed anyhow. Haven't had those issues since.

cleaning your Throttle body will eliminate this problem.
