For the last week or so my battery and brake lights in the dash have been blinking and coming on at the sametime. I was wondering if that is a code or does anyone know why it has been doing that. Can anyone help me out??? Thanks in advance.

 

Your alternator is going to die

 

I just put a new one in last month. Are you sure???

 

you check the brake fluid?

 

Yep the alternator is bad.

 

is it flickering? making a clicking noise? if so, it's definately the alternator. check all the connections. Maybe something going to the battery?

The lights inside flicker on and off, and now they stay on for a second or two.

 

check all your alternator wires. and check your e-brake cables

 

I checked my brake fluid and it was low, so thank you to everyone that helped out.

 

what about the batter light? the low brake fluid fixed the battery light too?
