Starter Issue! What do i do?
Well i have used my autostart for the last year and a half with no problem. The other night my car didnt crank right but then it started. Started fine for two days then this morning i started it with my autostart and it started ran for the 20 minutes and then shut off because i hit the alarm clock too many times. Anyway i came outside a couple of minutes later and tried starting the car it clicked three times. Then didnt click again. I got a ride to work and about an hour ago i did the bang and crank test. It now will give one click but not turn over. Am i 100& sure that this is a started problem? Sounds like it right? Also how do u jump out our starters, just jump out the two bolts on the starter? Thanks for the feedback!

I'm having the dreaded click on mine too. Sounds like the solenoid is sticking. Just tap the solenoid on the starter lightly, and try starting it. If it starts, it's the solenoid, if not, starter may need to to be taken apart and looked at. You can try jumping the bolts on the solenoid, but sparks scare me
. Doing this will rule out the solenoid issue if it doesn't start.
could be the copper contacts inside, in the beginning when they wear out the car won't start sometimes, then it keeps happening more often as they wear out more. If it's that, you can go to a local parts store and get them for $10.
Have your battery tested under load. I just replaced mine this past Saturday due to a similar issue. It read 12.5 volts on my multimeter, but when tested under load (at Advance Auto, or Auto Zone will do it), it only had 4 volts. You need about 10 volts under load to crank the car.
