Advice on brake pads..

hey guys..

just checked the stickies and couldnt find any info on brake pads.. i ordered a set of Brembo Crossed Drilled Rotors (all 4) w/zinc plating.. i should get them in tmrw.. cant wait! but anyways i had planned on just using my brake pads that were on the car (since they arent that old).. then i noticed that on my front rotors (which are warped) there are slight ripples on the rotors, and i figured that i shouldnt reuse those.. and just replace them so i get a good smooth, even wear on my new rotors that i just paid $230 dollars for! but i dont really know which brand/type of brake pads will work best with the new rotors.. just wondering some pro/cons and what to look for when buying, and also how much you paid for them and where you got them.. so i figured id jump on here and ask you guys.. any advice is helpful and much appreciated.. thanks in advance..

I run Ceramic pads on my x-drilled rotors. I think they are made by Wagner. Great stopping power, good initial bite, no noise and very little dusting.

Get Raybestos QS (Quiet Stop) ceramic pads from WWW.ROCKAUTO.COM I used them on my car when I went with slotted and cross dimpled plated rotors. NO problems at all. These are also ceramic pads and dust very little.

Also can vouch for the Raybestos QS. Probably not the very best performing pad, but quiet, extremely low dusting, and a nice bite to em. Go for it.
