how do you remove auto

how do you take out the automatic shifter. i wanna change the shifter lights from the plain to red. i haven't seen a write up anywhere.

You don't remove the shifter to change the light bulb. Remove the center console, then you can unplug the bulb from underneath the shifter.

it should be held in by 4 screws. 2 are under the panel that is under the cig lighter and ash try and the other 2 screws are located near the back seats on the bottom of the console.
