Stay tuned my car is almost ready for the Dyno. The only other person with this setup Dynoed his hybrid vs his full 3.5, numbers did gain I think by 10 or 12whp I got my heads ported , wit 3.5 cams and a few different mods then what he had, so we will see.

Also I think this Hybrid 11.5:1 comp setup will be a beast with NOS, so after NA runs I'll spray a 75shot and compare it to a full 3.5 on NOS.

What do you guys think???

Yes they do flow better supposedly. But by running 3.5 heads on a 3.0 block, you'll drop your Compression Ratio significantly (the opposite of the 3.0 heads on 3.5 block setup). So any gains that there may be from the better flowing heads would be cancelled out by the drop in CR.

The only reason for someone to do this would be if they plan to BOOST or run ALOT of nitrous. For N/A power the higher compression or full 3.5 option would be the way to go.

This is my idea, use a 3.5 bottem with 3.0 heads. Since you cant get the vct running, Ill use a 00vi on the 3.0 heads to comp. If I keep my max thats what im gonna do. find a way to lower compression then add some FI. Still dont know how im gonna keep the wheels on the ground and stopping the car from wheel hopping into outer space though. O but before all this happens I still gotta convert to 5spd. (ahhh the dreams)

boost is always an option.....but thanx for answering my question...i think i might wait until i do any swap for more reviews and feedback on the complete 3.5 swap....cause i would like to see someone do the whole swap with the VTC
