Just finished installing weapon r's dragon intake and breather filter today. Looks and sounds alot better than the Stillen/JWT popcharger IMO. I took it around the block for a quick test drive and it feels as if it restored some of the low end power lost when I had the Stillen intake. The breather filter doesn't seem to do anything. Just looks cool. Cost was $175 for the intake, breather, and a colored wire loom accesory kit. Very easy install.

Noise wise, to me, it's very noticable, even compared to the stillen intake. It's not as loud WOT as the Stillen and it sounds distictively better. No regrets here.

Dragon Intake

How does the Dragon Intake compare to the CAI or Stillen? Is there noticable noise? How much HP does it add?

What's the deal with the "intake takes away torque" thing? I have a Stillen intake, and I can tell a noticable *improvement* in low end grunt.

How about a picture? Thought I saw one a couple of weeks ago and tried to save it for my files but couldn't. Picture guys... please.

Cheers

I think it has something to do with the transmission as people with autos claim they lose low end torque with people with 5-speeds don't notice anything, or even says it pulls better. . . I remember reading something on this topic not that long ago.

how does the noise differ between the dragon filter and the k&n. i am getting kinda tired of the loudness of my CAI. i wonder if i could just swap out the k&n with a dragon one. do you think it will be quieter?
