EGR help :(

I looked around the stickies for about an hour and couldnt find anything on it. I just replaced my pcv valve last night and im still having a little bit of issues. Lost the poormans search link so this is my last string! If anyone can give me any links leading to the replacement of the egr valve, where i could possibly get one and how to install would be greatly appreciated! Thanks org

Poor man's search works like this:

point your browser to www.google.com

for your search terms put:

site:forums.maxima.org x y z

where x,y,z = the terms you want to find

Your search will be restricted to the Maxima.org forums.

It works pretty well, for the most part.

if you're not throwing any EGR related codes, there's no need to replace anything.

Not true.

I'm not getting any codes, but my BPT valve clatters so loud it sounds like I'm driving a diesel. It needs to be replaced.

First thread he posted says he needs to replace EGR valve itself, which is not a maintainence item., unless he's getting EGR related codes.
