which body work is cheaper?

Which one of these would be cheaper?

1) order new front bumper cover and fenders from ebay for $300 primed and shipped and then get them painted

-or-

2) get fenders and a bumper cover in a different color from a junkyard and then get those painted

I really have no idea here. Help me out, please.

Problems with #1.. ebay replacements will never fit exactly like OEM. your going to have gaps and parts wont come out even.

Problem with #2... Your going to have to get them primered, sanded, and painted.

Either way its going to come out to about the same price so... its on you...

Exactly what Ant said. The aftermarket bumpers never have the same fitment as OEM, however the OEM ones will be almost double the labor cost due to all of the prep work.

FYI painted the fenders and bumper should run you about $200-350, but if you have to have them sanded and prepped you can double that amount.

ummmm i have a Q, with the ebay bumpers you mentioned there are fittiment issues like gaps and such, will there be problems installing a stillen lip on this bumper just incase 2 da max was considering that. i know i want a stillen lip and i was considering an ebay bumper as an option
