its got like 30k miles now the front light is out of angel and the rear bumper need to be repaited fron too and the hood could use a touch up but i dont really want to look good just wanna be fast

how much would it cost for me to swap out this trannny for a 5 spd? and how much would it cost to get a racing auto? or sumthing like that...

how fast would i be if i get y pipe, cai, and exhaust?

and how fast would i be with just the stillen sc?

(1/4mile)

The cost of the repairs you describe are comparitively minor in comparison to, oh, replacing the tranny... personally I don't think you want the Maxima if you're not interested in looking good. Why don't you find an Eagle Talon? It's probably quite fast enough for you... that's a much better car for wrapping around the telephone pole.

Probably more cost-efficient to sell the Maxima you've got and apply the money you make to another Maxima equipped with a manual transmission; or, in fact, another car. Also less of a chance of something going wrong... (mystery problems).

Hey Buddy!! Be careful!! I did just that!!

I rolled my first 97SE. New tires and all.
Partly because I sneer in the face of a challenging road and mostly because I have a predominant lack of common sense.
SPEED SNEAKS UP ON YOU IN THIS CAR.Period.
IT MASKS SPEED!!! -THIS AINT NO CIVIC. You can do 90 and think its 45 to 50 easy!
If you want the 5 speed - take what you've got, sell it and buy one. The money you make should supply all the other requested upgrades for certain. Changing out the tranny is a bad idea unless you just like to work on cars and waste money. And besides - this car looks goooood. Think what your upgrades will do for it!!!
Good luck man!
