sharkfin antenna

sharkfin antenna

hey guys just wondering if anyone has put a shark fin antenna on there 4th gen ... recently my antenna was damaged and i would like to buy a new one like this:

wondering how it would look and how hard it would be to install ....if you were wondering what i was going to do with the hole in the stock location i was just going to have that filled in and painted ....what is everyones opinion?

Ps any other ideas on any other antennas?

yea, I was wondering about this too. A car wash had my antenna for dinner.

I think those shark fin antennas are for satellite radioes, not regular AM/FM. But if there is an AM/FM version, I think it'll look pretty good.

The hardest part of that installation would probably be removing the headliner to get at the wires from underneath the antenna. After that, running some wires to the trunk to splice in to the stock ones would be easy or even going to the headunit wouldn't be too hard either.
