parking brake seized?!!?!?!
I left my car out in the cold today for a couple of hours, and when i came back, the left rear caliper was seized, and the parking brake was loose. I managed to get the car home, and the brake losened up a bit. This is odd, because the car was left outside all night yesterday without a problem. but it seized tonight. I put it in the garage. Hopefully it will be ok by morning.
Otherwise, what can I do?

Looks like the ebrake cable is shot. It can ge pinched by the pods of a lift, water gets inside, it rusts and freezes in cold temperature. This is common on 4th gen Maximas. I had to replace a cable on the right side.

It took me three hours in my garage, all 4 corners of the car raised by app 15 inches ans sitting on 4 stands. It would take an experienced mechanic with a lift one hour I guess. Not difficult at all, just an ackward place to work under the car. Removing the rusted bolts that fasten the mid-pipe heat hield would be the biggest difficulty. Have some penetrating oil ready.
