Repaint the Car after hit and run...need advice.

Hey people, my maxima was just involved in a hit and run. Somebody hit my car and then drove away. No note. Well whatever. So my question goes something like this...
The car will need to be repainted the orginal factory colour. Chips on the hood and some tiny rust spots are starting to appear on the roof. I have a scratch through the clear coat on the passanger side near the back and that will have to be fixed also. The passanger side front fender has some small dents in it and so does that door. This hit and run ripped off my corner light on the drivers side, no damage to the headlight. Also messed up the signal light, but the worst is that I have a crease in the metal just above the tire. This crease results in an 1/8" gap at the bottom where the fender meets the plastic bumper. The metal trim around the sunroof is starting to rust also and would like to get that repaired. The front bumper has a crack in the middle of it and I'm just going to replace it with a "newer" one.
I had an accident about 2 years ago and there is no way in hell i'm going to put this through my insurance company to see my insurance cost double and my deductible is 500 bux anyway.
What do you .orgers feel this is going to cost me. I don't mind paying for quality work that comes with a warranty.
I'm still kinda p.o.'d at how irresponsible people can be.

If you have comprehensive insurance, you can pay out your deductible and have it fixed. Your insurance premium is not affected by comprehensive claims.

Same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Bummer, man.

I'll phone the inusrance company today and see about that. I know that I have the comp coverage, but with the accident that resulted in a claim, and if I make a second claim, dosen't that affect my insurance rating?

Were you parked when this happened? If so, file a claim. Your insurance does not go up if your car was hit while parked. Bring it to a body shop, then file a claim. Tell the body shop what happened they might give you the royal treatment.
