Testors clear enamel

I see a lot of people use this for tail lights on there maxima. What does it do and where do you get it? Does it take the color out of the tail lights to make them clear?

yes its suppost to clear it out.

you apply to the outside till you cant see the orange anymore but make sure you can still see the bulb, some other 95 and 96'ers have done it to get red/clears,

there is another thread on it.

Where do you get this stuff and how much does it cost? If I make them all clear and put red bulbs in it would that work?

Quick question for everyone who actually thinks this works.
Can you tell me what color clear is? Or what clearcoat is?
If i put some clearcoat on anything, does it turn clear?
Have some common sense ...

They aren't produced anymore, look to spend 300+ for a set. If you really want red clears do the 97+ conversion. They look better anyways

theres only 2 ways to do it, you get a set of clear taillights (outer) paint them or conversion of 97-99. No other way! No sprays etc...

You'll need a trunk, tail lights and bumper... its not cheap. Especially if they're not the same color... your better off finding all clears... and if you do, PLEASE paint them.. the all clear look was out wayyy before Altezzas ever came in.

And well I dont know how long its gonna last but I'm trying to behave... trying really really hard....

Why? It's not even new years yet. You've got to give yourself one last week of it before you quit. After all the holidays are stressful enough without trying to quit flaming on top of it all.

You need to stop asking questions, and do some research.
Read the faqs for christ sake.
This topic comes up at least twice a week.
