Crankshaft Position Sensor-Where is it?

Hi,
I need to check my crankshaft position sensors (trying to diagnose code 0407). I had no problem finding the ref sensor, but can't find the POS. I have a Hayne's manual, and it says its on the transaxle bell housing, but I just don't see it. Should I access it from the top or bottom. Thanks for your help!

are you sure? i had to get under the car to see it, maybe i was looking from the wrong angle, but the POS is the one thats bolted ot the O2 sensor wire bracket. you have to remove th splash guard and look under with alot of light.

Crank position POS is located under the car on the transmission bell housing.
It looks at the flywheel.
Remove the lower splash shield on the drivers side to gain access to it.

Crank position REF is located on the lower pully, you can gain access to it by removing the inner splash shield on the passenger side wheel well.

Ant96, the sensor you see up top near the motor mount is the camshaft angle sensor.

Thanks all,
I managed to find it under the car. The sensor had some metal particles stuck to it, and didn't look so good, so hopefully that was the culprit.
