Black Rims

Has anyone tried to black out their Max with an all black paint job and black powdercoated rims? This seems like a good look for the Max and I'm surprised that nobody has tried it yet. Post some pics if any.

goin to

I have a 98 black SE and next week i am sending my rims off to a local powder coating shop to have them powder coated. i personally like this look, so when i got the money i jumped at the chance. i didnt want to mess with the way the car rode (bigger rims) and you get a good look for less of a price. i wish i could of seen some pics, but i could not find anything similar.

I think it will look good but only with a polished lip... too much of one color isnt pretty either.

My car is kind of what you're asking about. Neither the paint or the rims are black, but both look quite close. It's Granite pearl with graphite colored rims and polished lip.

If your rims where a little bigger, like 18", it would look a lot better. Good look
