taking out the ACUTALL dash board.

i want to paint my dash black. i am not talking about the pieces around the radio or AC or the guages. i am talking about the ENTIRE dash on top of the steering wheel above the passenger air bag. the part that is all VIYNL and closest to the windshield. is there a write up on how to remove this? i dont want to just paint it while in the car cuz i know it will come out like SHYT. please help

I will be doing the same project this spring. Sterlingmaxima is right....I have seen some REALLY nice painted dashboards that blow away the OEM finishes. As for the headliner, you can just use a basic $8 3M spray adhesive to glue on a new headliner. Any fabric shop sells that stuff relatively cheap. Mine came out nice. Good luck!

You will also need to buy a T50 star tipped thing with a hole in the tip of it (tamper proof) to remove two star bolts on the airbag. I just removerd mine to install a new rug.
