My CEL Light Came one yesterday and at the same time my, TCS light came on with TCS OFF and SLIP. I ran the ECU with Code 0201. Ignition Signal Circuit. Thanks a lot for the info, I know there is 6 coils on the maxima, any idea how I can tell what one to replace?? or if they are Mitsu or Hanshin Design Coils?? I got a quote at $69.00 a coil sound like a fair price? I'am hopeing i only need one, Sounds like a driveway job. Would this trigger the TCS light to come on tho?

I would replace all 6 so I would never have to worry about it again. CHeck in the Group Deal forum, there is a GD for coils right now.

 

The same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. Replaced all six ignition coils and new plugs. The car now runs great!

 

Thanks again guys Guess i will give that a try. My only worry is That the TCS OFF and SLIP lights are also on?? I cant see why this would be im not getting any other error codes about the TCS only the 0201. Luxor99 did you TCS and SLIP lights also come on?
