weirdest problem EVER

so recently and only when its cold...my passenger side rear door wont unlock from the inside or out and its getting stuck...NO idea what could be causing it

maybe its the child lock protection ... i had the same problem on my avalon...its this little notch on the side of the door when u open it and u can lock it so the kids wont fall out... : )
