Fuel Cleaner

Hey Guys,
I was thinking of buying one of those bottles of stuff you put in the gas tank that will clean the fuel injectors. I forget what the exact name is of this type of product. My question is, is it worth it? Does it help?

My car seems kind of slow, more sluggish than it used to be, its a 96 with 45k miles on it so i dont see why. I know it recently had its oil and fuel filter changed. That is why I wanted to try this.

What else should I be looking for?

Thanks

Chevron Techron is a great, plus affordable fuel injector cleaner. Plenty of info in that link for the Maintenance section.

45k on your car for a 96 that is odd and very rare

yeah my parents didnt drive it much and then i bought it from them. I followed their footsteps as well. Work in manhattan 5 days a week so dont accumulate teh miles. So Chevron is good, what about the Valvoline?

Can this thread be transferred to that forum then. Just want to know if i can put it in and which one is godo regardless of price.
