Failed the Emission Test Today

I got my car inspection done today and failed the emmision test....ne body noe y?...i have a y-pipe and short ram air intake...n i jus changed the spark plug...Do i have to drive for 30 mins before gettin it inpected.

Damn how'd that happen? I passed with a Y pipe, CEL w/ bad knock sensor, 02 senso, map and crank sensor...

lol i failed and needed about 900 dollars of parts to pass, i was like heres 40 give me the sticker

You should get the car fully heated up first since you have a y-pipe. The precats in the stock y-pipe would make it all good, but since you don't have them (who does here right ) you need to have the main cat up to temp.

If you had failed due to hydrocarbons go back and take off your air filter before you do. It will solve the problem. For some reason it **** the hydrocarbon levels

no leave the filter on just make sure ur temp is up. or the eng warmed. and make sure u have no cels
