There are two types that I know of . One is basically a Euro corner but the design is exactly like the stock corner signal lense except for the fact that it's white. There is also one that has a diamond cut pattern on it, and this in my opinion looks a lot better , and it also reflects light differently.

just find the right set of clear corners and look at it closely to see if water and condensation will sneak in the lense and ruin it.

I've got the "diamond cut" clear corners. They are fantastic! They put my headlights to shame they are so clear and sharp. I haven't seen the regular clear corners that you can get but am glad that I went ahead and went the "diamond" route. Look on ebay and bid. PROCARPARTS regularly has 5 or 6 auctions for them. They sell the same part on their website but for $79 and then you have to pay shipping. My winning bid was for a grand total of $51 including shipping. They look good on my emerald green SE.

The Diamond Cut clear corners are great. I put them in my 95 SE, and they're very sharp. The look is fantastic at night, too! I got them for $58 including shipping and handling, on eBay. Well worth it.

Also, it takes about 15 minutes to put these in. I do have some recommendations for some steps to make for a better installation which I'm going to post on my website soon.

1 more vote, get the Diamond Cut clears. Much better looking IMO. Paid $52 shipped. Another cool thing about the diamonds is the effect of the amber bulbs against the diamond clear lenses. At night w/just the park lights on, the side park lamps give a cool looking glow that bleeds into the front turn signal part of the clears. Nice effect.

I have the standard clears that came out before the diamonds...they WERE nice until the diamonds came out. I would prefer to upgrade. The indicator lenses are basically clear but don't offer a whole lot of light dispersion. The diamond cut looks like it allows more places for the light to reflect, because of the way the lenses are "cut". Correct me if I'm wrong but the standard clears look really simple compared to the diamonds.

I've had my diamond corners in for about a month now, numerous car washes and rain storms, absolutely no leaks. Also with the very high humidity we have in NC, if the clears were gonna fog, they would have definitely done so already. My plastic instrument cluster cover fogs all the time but the clears have been straight. You won't be dissapointed.

corner lighting installation tips

Nothing hard, just some tips I acquired in doing it.

First, the OEM turn signal unit has an excellent anti-moisture control rubber tube connected to it. This tube is controlled with an insert that keeps spiders out, allows moisture to dry up, and keeps water from getting in. The replacement corners come with a very cheap plastic tube that probably keeps the water out fairly well, but will allow bugs to nest inside.

Second, the replacements don't fit VERY tightly. Enough to stay in over rough bumps, but I was a bit nervous anyway. So, I bought a roll of adhesive backed rubber insulation (Home Depot) and used this as a packing material to help make the fit snug. Worked like a charm.

Third, it is helpful to replace the existing plastic fitting with the new ones -- these accept the hex "nub" that holds the parking light unit in. You want this to be a tight fit. In the FAQ, there is some instruction on pulling back the fender guard and mounting this from the back--this makes it very difficult for a would-be thief to steal your lights. One problem though: A thief won't realize why it is so tight and will probably end up breaking the unit and damaging the bumper fittings. Personally, I'm not will to spend so much extra time on doing it--looked like more trouble than it's worth.

That's about it... hope you find it helpful.

Stupid me... I didn't finish this part. What I was about to say, is that you should take the anti-condensation tube off the original turn signal unit and put it on the new one. Why not continue to use the superior part?
But one quick note: It probably won't fit very snug. What I did was purchase a tube clamp from Home Depot and put this on to ensure that it fits nice and tight. 1/2" size will do.

Whew--I feel better already.

Theres actually 3 types, cuz I own 2 of them

Theres the first gen regular clears, im guessing courtesy, tho theyre all made in Taiwan anyways. They're orange backed, and if youre about 4ft or closer you can see the orange outlines.

The next gen courtesy set are grey plastic backed, and they dont have the outline thing. (I have a black car, so orange sticks out a lil)

And the third, ill go with the diamond cut clears. Since my headlights look like theyre yellowing, forget that stuff.

As for installs, i used plumbers tape? The lil white rubberish tape? its like $1 per roll..

cheapest place to buy...Ebay

If you want to see what they look like, check out PROCARPARTS.com. BTW, they are the ones that are auctioning them on Ebay too. Much cheaper to buy ($51 w/shipping) then "directly" from them at their internet site ($79 PLUS Shipping). You might have to bid a couple of times but keep at it and you'll eventually win. The advice I was given was, don't bid over $55. Worked for me.
Sorry I don't have a picture I can post....no digital camera...I'd rather buy MAX parts and mods But you'll see quite a difference in the pics that Procar posts. Believe me, they are sweet looking. BTW, mine are made in Taiwan, and have a grey housing. So far no leaks etc. I also waited to get mine and did all the fog light rewire/blinker rewire and corner rewire at one time. Easy.

Cheers
