dropping down on my 18s--a few general questions
Hey y'all,
We've all established that I'm a severe newbie, so anyway, here are my questions...
1. Is the Eibach Prokit a. good and b. all I'll need to do the drop?
2. About how much should I expect to pay a shop to redo the suspension?
3. Are there any disadvantage to dropping the suspension? (e.g., I live in a snow-hell--will it be harder to drive with a dropped suspension?)
Thanks a lot for your help.

I'll try.
1a. It's supposedly the best handling spring out there, bad ride comfort.
b. You're stock struts/shocks will blow sooner or later with a drop, so to save on the install charges, get new shocks/struts too. I believe Eibach advertises that you don't need aftermarket struts with the Pro Kit on their website, which is unfortunate.
2. I don't have any experience with this, but I've heard anywhere from 100-400. See if there are any org members around you that'll help you do it.
3. Besides the obvious lower ride height, thus, harder to drive in snow, I don't believe it physically makes it harder to drive in snow. Oh yeah, you'll sacrifice ride comfort.
I tried.
