power seats problem

power seats problem
my passenger seat only half works. when you try to move it forward or backwards the right half moves a little and then strains and stops because the left side doesnt move at all. does this just mean that the motor on the left half is dead or something? im pretty sure the seat worked when i bought the car last week
i like that animation, it makes me chuckle
