Bad Oxygen Sensor

Can a bad Oxygen sensor cause the car smell bad? My car smells bad when it's idle. Did anyone remember their car smell bad before the Oxygen sensor went bad and they got CEL? thanks.

My car smelled bad... but I knew mine were dead. I'm still having the same problems. I think you should do what you recommended me to do... which I'm doing this weekend.. wow that was a confusing post.

Thank you
No it does not smell like rotten egg. More like fuel ratio is off, smell like the car is not burning fuel right.

I have done that, and I get a wired reading from the Oxygen sensor bank one. Maybe you can understand this. Sorry for making it sound confusing.

right now at this point i don't care anymore, I am so broke i will not do anything about it, I'll Waite for the cel, then I take the bulb out of the cluster for the cell. That’s my way of fixing it. I put mad air freshener in the car, so ladies only smell the air freshener
