Are 95's geared any different than other 4th gens?

I remember a while ago I was talking to a Nissan guy about my car, he said the 95 SE 5spds were geared ( I think he said gearing) really well compared to the other years. Is this true at all? Is there any difference in anything under the hood other than Hp and the obvious stuff?

Actually all maxima 5spds have the same gear ratios. The altima as well I would assume. There is no HP difference between the 4th gens either.
