Prewired for foglights?

Prewired for foglights?

how would i know if my 96 gle is prewired for foglights?

look where you turn your head lights on and off, there should be one for fogs there, if there isn't well then you most likley don't have it

not correct it should be pre wired you need to look at where the fog lights would be mounted and a wire should be up there on both left and right sides. i have a turn signal stalk w/ fog light switch (not standard equip.) if you plan on adding fog lights

So wait, to be prewired it should have the stalk or the wires or both?

i think the wiring is there.. but the switch with the headlight and turnsig on it i think u have to get new .. but the basic wiring is there.. (im 99% shure)

the wiring is there. you just need to add a relay, and swap the non-fog turn signal stalk to fog turn signal stalk. all the wiring is there. the harnesses for the lights are taped up under the bumper, and the harness that plugs into the stalk is taped up under the steering shroud

OneToughMax is correct. My '98 GXE is wired the exact same way. Fogs are going in once spring roles around.

You should be able to...you would just need to clip off the factory wiring harness and splice in the wires to the aftermarket fogs.
