anybody know of some good brake pads???

I'm in the market for new pads for a 99 SE. Is it recommended to buy both for the front and the back at once? Or does it depend on the wear?

Also, what pads would you guys recommend? Perhaps offer some cheap places online to buy them as well? Thank you very much.

HOnesty the best of everything.. bite, dusting and noise would be OEM... that is if you want to spend that much.

If not get yourself some Raysbestos, Wagner or Bendix's highest line of pads...

TRW pads have awsome initial grip. Great replacement to the stock pads. Most local auto parts stores carry them. Their priced right too.

OEM

Just do them all at once and in the future you will know just how many miles are on them.

Bah humbug on the OEM pads. There are far better stopping pads out there. What sort of usage does your car see? Track, autoX, drag, fast street, normal street, sunday drive to church? Give us a better idea so we can recommend a pad that meets your needs.

I just put on some raybestos quiet stops in the front. Seem to do the job pretty well. Were 50 bucks shipped from rockauto.com

PBR/Axxis Ultimates wouldn't be too bad. They're also available from AutoMax95 in the Group Deals Forum. I think they were about forty-ish for a pair.
