The KS code is 0304.

It never throws a CEL.

It throws a code, but never a CEL, like Terran said.

CEL=check engine light.

A code is a thing stored in the ECU that corresponds to a faulty sensor.

A CEL is always accompanied by a code. A code is NOT always accompanied by a CEL.

Got it?

I think that's pretty much what mine is reading. Would it be best to just replace the entire knock sensor?

P0304 is not the same as 0304

0304 is reading the ECU on your own, not through a scan machine. Thats why the codes are different.

Neither one of us is wrong, just change the code over here
