Taking out headlight housings

Hey everyone, I need to take out my headlight housings to finish my 9004 to 9007 conversion (i need to file down those nubs). I looked in the how to's but didn't see the link on how to do this. If I missed it by accident then I apologize, but if not if someone could give me a quick write up i'd really appreciate it, thanks!

-Take off the grill

-Take off the side lights, Screw is on top of the headlights on the ends where the fender is. Take a flat head with a rag and lightly pry them.

-Remove the 2 bolts on the side of the headlight after you taken off the side lights.

-On the other side of the headlight by the radiator there are 3 bolts. Remove the top one and the lower one. Disregard the middle one because it doesnt do anything.

-When you removed your front grill look in that area for any bolts/screws. I cant remember if there were any.

When it comes time to take them off keep on eye out for your headlight adjusting bars make sure you get them through the hole nice without getting it stuck and yanking them. Its pretty simple. 10 min per side, take your time remember what bolt goes where. Use a 1/4 drive with a 10 or 12mm i cant remember. NO extentsion trust me because its going to be a ***** to remove the drivers side one.

Damn sounds like it's going to be a bit of a ***** to do this. We'll see how much time I got on my hands tomorrow, otherwise I may just have to look for a way to file or cut the nubs off without taking the housings out. We'll see what tomorrow brings, thanks for the write up!!!
