I installed the 9004 harness upgrade that I just got from SUVlights.com and I have a slight problem... one side (the left when looking at the engine) lights up fine... and the other side is very dull... I switched bulbs and same deal... I plugged bulbs into old sockets and they both light up fine... any suggestions?

You do realize that you don't have an SUV? j/k.

What harness do you have? Most likely there is a relay and/or fuse for each side. Chech both of them, switch them around, etc.

OK, I fixed my problem... I was going to delete this thread, but I'll answer my own question for future refernce for other people...

MAKE sure that your ground wires are bolted onto something that is metal and very clean and unpainted... Once I change my right ground wire, all was good...

I do have an SUV... (not lowered yet) hehe... but more seriously... they sell some generic one (that is very high quality) for $40 shipped to my door two days after ordering it. I could not get a human when I called, but they got it to me in no time at all..

You know what, I just got my harness from SUV also, but I dont even know where to start... I looked some instructions at maximadriver.org but i'm still stuck. Can you please give me some baby steps on installing this?? Like step by step on what you did. I would really appreciate it.

your pics helped out alot. It turns out its no biggie. I just kinda freaked out when i saw all the wires. Oh yea, I couldn't secure the relays to anywhere so i just let is sit the next to the battery near the relay box... Any suggestions on the securing position for the relays? I dont think its neccessary tho..
