I said it before -- FF will be the death of me (gas leak = fun)
Well, after my long troubles with my FF, I finally got the fuel line off by a combination of using tape-wrapped pliers and prying the fuel line off the tube with a small screwdriver. I put the new fuel filter in and connected it. I put my intake back on, started my car, and moved it. I now have a gas leak coming from somewhere, it doesn't feel like the filter is actually leaking. When I moved my car, we found a black "plug" looking object, and has the faint smell of gas. What the hell could I have done. I'm fairly sure that the hoses are on well (I didn't tighten them as much as I could have). I need help...

Door Panel popping tools are a hose removers best friend.....
AS for the black "plug" on the ground, I dunno.
As for the faint smell of gas, that's probably just some fuel that leaked out when you unplugged the old filter.....
