hey guys, im looking for a y-pipe and i checked custommaxima.com, but they only had it for 95-98 maximas, whats the differance between 98 and 99 maxima, and howcome it will not fit on mine?

 

99% sure your car is cali spec. You need a diif y-pipe, basically the same y pipe that fits 5th gens. Check the stickies on how to check if your car is cali spec- or just look under the hood right in front of your motor if there are 4 sensors plugged in you hae cali spec and need a diff y-pipe. Warpspeed makes a cali spec pipe for 160 shipped and it's a nice piece.
