doing my neons. 2 questions

So I'll be wiring the neons to my cigarette lighter. What is positive and what is negative? I have a 99. Also, where did you mount them? I looked under there and theres not much to work with, especially the passenger side. Thanks for the input.

you dont have to wire them into the cig lighter, use a fuse like audio or cig lighter. no splicing that way... id put them up under the dash and under the seats. but i dont have any

There should only be 2 wires connected to the cigarette lighter connection. One is black (negative) and the other cable is positive. I can't remember the exact color off hand but it doesn't matter. Now, if you are referring to the end on neon side then your best bet is to look at the power invertor since it will be noted on there what wire is positive/negative. This is only necessary if the wires are not defaultly color coded to the standard red/positive and black/negative. As to the location for the tubes, you can just put them on the bottom of the dash. You can then use 3M tape to hold the tubes up there. I currently have my 2 front 6" neon tubes mounted this way without any problems for over a year. Here is a pic to give you an idea of how it will look once your done. BTW, its supposed to be purple in color but photographs as blue. Good luck to you.
