Timing

I was wondering if the timing is adjustable on a 97 Max?

I bought a UDP from Arospeed and they said I had to adjust the timing...

I called Nissan and they said it wasn't adjustable....

I had same problem. U can not adjust timming in maxima. ECU adjusts it. Thats why U have crancshaft posision sensor.

But you dont need to "adjust" the timing when installing the UDP. That was my point.

So what do I need to do? With the UDP on my car ran so bad, it was like somebody just learning how to drive a stick and then when I got the RPM's up it would just fall on it's face. Took the UDP off runs normal....

One think. Sell this cheap UDP or throw it to garbage. If you want to have a UDP get unothodox UDP. I know its no cheap but its real not fake UDP.
