I have a 1999 auto w/traction control.

For the last week my car has sputtered after sitting at a stop light and trying to accelerate normally. It runs fine WOT just acellerating slowly only after idling does it have a problem. It also happens sometimes when cruising and tapping the gas pedal.

Today I drove the car and parked it for an hour. I started it put in it reverse and the motor cut off after going into drive. It starts fine but cuts out in a forward drive gear. Reverse works fine. I tried to move a couple of times. I let it idle for 5-10 and I was able to drive home. I do have a CEL for KS and rear O2 but I've had those for a year now. My car ran fine so I didn't bother doing anything about it. My SLIP and TCS came on a couple times in the last few months and I just swapped out coil packs to cure that.

What can it be? The KS? It's a pain on this car because the swish valve is in the way.
