So i've been looking into doing a custom LED setup for my car, but i have a few questions.

I want to put the LED's on a switch but i dont know exactly the proper way to power them. I have an amp in the trunk with a 2 gauge wire going to it. So i know that wire can power the lights as well. But will that properly power them if i just run a wire from a splitter with the power cable for my amp.

Also since im not trying to fit them anywhere and am just going to customly install them in places it wont matter what size bulb i get.

probably best to find a switched 12v somewhere like the cig lighter or somthing
