LED's

What up all....I'm hoping someone can briefly explain to me the different types of LED's. I'm wanting to convert my interior LED's to blue, but I have no clue what size I need or anything. I see them all over eBay, but don't want to buy any until I am sure.

Do they need to be a particular size? I see 5mm alot

Also, is "mcd" the brightness? What mcd would be recommended?

Forgive me for being ignorant

check the how to sticky at the top of the 4th gen forum page on a write up for how to change your interior lights to blue.

yes mcd is the brightness of the led, and most leds come in either 3mm or 5mm sizes. if your looking to buy some leds, which im assuming you are, go to the group deals forum because there is a good deal for leds right now that provide ample brightness and you can get 25 3mm and 25 5mm- plenty to do your interior and enough left over incase you screw up.

also make sure you read all the stickys because they should answer most of the basic questions youll have and give you alot of info on maximas in general.

welcome to the .org by the way

Thank you

I did see it in the stickies a few days ago, but when I went back to access it, the link wasn't working for me.
