Camshaft Position Sensor

ok.. so my cel light came on.. pulled the codes.. got a 0155/0101 Camshaft Position Sensor... quick question.. would this hurt my gas mileage? also.. how much is this part??

for example.. before i used to get about.. 60-65 miles before the gas tank hand moved past the full mark.. now im almost to 3/4 mark with 70 miles... umm.. i dont think thats right... it moved pass the full mark around 40 miles.. is this normal for Camshaft Position Sensor problem? thanks in advance for the help

Just change the sensor. It controls the sequential fuel injection timing.
