mzmtg....man you are the BEST!
Not only did they have the part in STOCK, its a lot cheaper, like 100.00 cheaper for the north. I m down here in the south, AL for the matter, and the steal-ership wanted me to buy the part for 240+. Your the best man. Thanks

Go to nissanparts.cc
Here's the replacement part number: 31940-80X25 Solenoid Repair $81
This is a kit that Nissan put out. The original part #31940-80X00 (superseded by 31940-80X05) is about $300!
The kit includes everything except the pan gasket. Check out the Service Bulletins for additional info.

$240 thats a lot , try $400 thats what the moran at the parts window wanted to charge me for solenoids, i have told him that nissan had released new repair kit at around $140 retail , he did not want to listen , so i went back home , printed out the TSB and stuffed right into his face, few minutes later i walked out with new set of solenoids for $140.
Is your check engine light displaying any of 1205 code series ?
check your drop resistor first - it should read 12.4 ohms

Tim/Nick,
So does part #31940-80X25 include new solenoid valves or is it just the kit to repair old solenoid valves? (is it just a bunch of rubber gaskets, etc..)
Why would one replace the solenoids? I have jerky 1->2 shifts (not consistent, only occasionally), is this the likely culprit? No Check Engine lights here...

if your tranny jerks occasianally than , don't worry about it , most 4th gen auto trannies do that ,
yes the repair kit includes all brand new shift solenoids
if you don't have check engine light with 1205 code or flashing overdrive light , do a flush , don't step on the gas to hard when tranny is cold and finally learn to live with it.

Well, the downshifts are not good. When I slow down to like 10 or 15 mph and then hit the gas pedal, the car feels like it is in 3rd gear still and moans louder

this is normal for 4th gen auto , come to complete stop and she will downshift to 1st or otherwise learn to live with it
Where in Waukegan are you located ? Iam on Grand and Green Bay rd , right past Jewel
