heating problem
Scenario: i have a 1996 nissan maxima with about 120,000 miles runs nice.
Problem: I start the car and i let it sit in idle and it warms up nicely to its regular halfway mark on the oil temp. gauge. once i begin to drive the oil temp gauge start to drop to cold. i do not know why.
could someone please tell me how to fix this, cause i live in connecticut and its 5 degrees outside...not fun driving in the cold anymoer iwth no heat

i have the same problem...i dont konw what it is i checked my radiator fluid and its below low, i am not sure if that has anythign to do with it...i would also benifit from this help too..and like you its about 10 degrees here....
just to chime in on the car warming up, I learned this recently, according to FSM warming up the car entaisl, letting car idle for 30sec - 1min, then slow driving till the car is warm, that is the best way to warm up the car.
