Has anyone done an interior dye. I have a beige interior and i was thinking about dyeing the whole car black and then some peices depending , i was thinking like silver or white cuz of my exterior color. Also would i be able to dye my seats too? and the steering wheel? if i dyed it would it get messed up after a while cuz it gets used alot. any help will be appreciated thanks.

they have many colors to choose from:

http://www.duplicolor.com/products/vinyl.html
http://www.duplicolor.com/products/vinyloem.html

i used the "OEM" flat black. Probably 5-6 cans for my pieces.

it smells real bad so do this outside.

Jstutter:

what color was your interior before you painted it black?
after you painted t black does it still feel like the normal cloth feel? no sticky paint feeling?
you said you painted it outside, so you jsut took your entire interior appart?

How would this stuff work on the Interior Cabin Carpet? Would constant in and out, wet feet from rain and snow cause it to come right up or what?

I have a black leather interior. The fabric is a bit rougher now, but its the headliner so its not like I touch it all the time. Maybe repeated touching would make it less stiff. I removed my whole interior minus the dash. I was doing a weight reduction at the time so it was out already.

I was going to paint the carpet too but decided not to since I feel it would wear off over time.
